We have a strong and thriving team in our South Walker Creek mine in the Bowen Basin and have an opportunity for a Paramedic Emergency Services Officer to support our operations.
Job Description
As Paramedic Emergency Services Officer you will be responsible for providing emergency response assistance to coal mine workers on site, working as an integral part of the emergency response team. This is a Wednesday to Tuesday (DS / NS) 7 on / 7 off rostered site-based role, local DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane.

What we would love to see in you to make this a success…
- Previous experience as a Paramedic / ESO on a mine site
- Bachelor's Degree in Paramedical Science or equivalent
- Current Paramedic AHPRA registration
- Current Cert 3 in Emergency Response and Rescue
- Current drug and alcohol tester qualification
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing (desirable)
- Have a collaborative working style with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across functional teams whilst working within a small team
- Awareness of site access processes and systems
- Current Open Australian drivers license
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
