We have an opportunity for a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance and engineering function at our South Walker Creek Mine. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient performance of plant and equipment, while driving long-term asset performance and improvement.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the Maintenance and Engineering team across planning, reliability, execution and projects
- Implementing maintenance strategies to maximise equipment availability and performance
- Aligning maintenance and production priorities to deliver planned outcomes
- Managing site asset integrity, risk and compliance obligations
- Delivering capital projects and shutdowns safely, on time and within budget
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation in maintenance systems and performance
- Building strong relationships with operations and key stakeholders across site
Qualifications
- Proven leadership of large, multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering teams
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance strategies, asset management and reliability practices
- Experience managing large mining equipment, including draglines and CHPP assets
- Experience delivering complex engineering and capital projects
- Strong commercial, financial and risk management capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive performance outcomes
