Inventory Coordinator/Specialist – The Opportunity

We’re seeking a detail-oriented inventory professional with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Reporting to the Manager – Warehouse & Inventory, you’ll play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, parts availability, and master data integrity to support maintenance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability.
• Collaborate with maintenance planning teams to ensure timely access to required parts for scheduled work.
• Expedite critical parts in coordination with planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
• Generate weekly inventory reports using SAP Hana to track parts availability and meet RIFOT (Reservations In Full On Time) targets.
• Create, maintain and improve inventory master data, including material descriptions, units of measure, part classifications, and supplier details.
• Ensure master data accuracy to support effective procurement, planning, and reporting processes.
• Promote inventory optimisation in line with approved policies and procedures.
• Use short-range forecasts and long-term plans to align stock holdings with future demand.
• Lead inventory improvement projects that support operational and business goals.

To be successful: 

• Strong attention to detail 
• SAP Hana Experience (Highly Desirable) 
• Microsoft Office Suite Experience
• Previous experience in inventory control, supply chain, purchasing, analysis and data visualisation.
• Mining Experience Preferred
