About the Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Dragline operators to join our team providing safe, effective & efficient operation of these world-class machines on this highly respected mine. We are currently recruiting for Multiskilled Operators with Dragline experience to join our team providing safe, effective & efficient operation of these world-class machines on this highly respected mine. 

Job Description

You will need to demonstrate sound technical knowledge and experience in equipment operation within a coal mining environment with;

• Minimum of 2 years Dragline Operating experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
• A proven ability to meet production targets
• Current Dragline Operating experience with 2 years of open-cut mining experience essential
• A current RII Competency in conducting Dragline and Dozer operations
• Minimum ‘C' Class Driver's license
• Competency in the following will be of advantage: D10/D11 Dozers, Graders
• Additional competencies in operating Support Equipment (Cable Reeler, Cable Tractor and Grader) desirable.
• Dragline, Dozer, Excavators, Grader, and Loader, and
• A strong commitment to Zero Harm;
• An ability to work and communicate well in a team environment;
• A proven ability to meet production targets;
• An ability to work and communicate well in a team environment;
• The adaptability to operate to changing work conditions and required mining techniques.
• Compliance and knowledge with relevant mine site safety procedures, safe work instructions, standard operating procedures, legislation and rules.

Qualifications

To be part of our ongoing success you will have:

• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical 
• Demonstrated and assessed/authorised ability to operate Dragline and Dozers
