We are seeking an experienced Operator/Maintainer to join our Production team, reporting directly to the CHPP Operation Supervisor.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who takes a proactive approach to their work. You will need a sharp eye for hazard identification, with the technical ability and initiative to not just report issues, but to rectify them. We value people who take genuine ownership of their work area and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and safely.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring plant equipment and control systems.
- Monitoring process conditions and product quality, making routine adjustments to meet specifications.
- Performing regular inspections, mechanical servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting quality control activities.
- Maintaining high work standards and complying with documented procedures.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and promoting safe working practices.
About you:
Required
- Processing and CHPP maintenance experience.
- Current Australian-recognised trade qualification (Highly Desirable)
- Current Standard 11 (Surface)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and technical problem-solving skills
Desirable
- Train loading and dozer operations experience
- Current Forklift, EWP, Non-Slew Crane, Dogging and Rigging certificates (Highly Desirable)
