We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team at Poitrel Mine. This is a site-based role working a 7/7 roster.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan
• Managing people and equipment to deliver production targets
• Providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across production activities
• Working closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes
• Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with your crew
• Complying with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements
• Contributing to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes

What we would love to see in you to make this a success

• Experience in an open cut mining environment (production)
• Previous leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capability
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team
• Good understanding of systems and processes (experience with MineStar desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work
