Isaac Plains is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee our maintenance team. Reporting to the CHPP & Maintenance Manager, you will provide leadership, strategic and tactical direction to the Maintenance function ensuring delivery and planning of safe, high quality project performance.
As Maintenance Superintendent, you will:
- Demonstrate proactive safe leadership to all employees and contractors by promoting and enforcing use of JSA’s, SOP’s, permits, work instructions and OEM manuals to conduct tasks
- Lead by example, lead with energy and display behaviours in line with Stanmore Values
- Work with the Planning team to drive compliance with the Maintenance Work Management System and set clear direction for the Execution team
- Drive the capture of accurate data within the SAP maintenance system
- Communication and consultation across business departments e.g. planning requirements with operational departments, engineering delays and incident outcomes
- Identify and implement continuous (CI) improvement strategies targeting safety, reliability and cost saving
- Manage the Maintenance costs and capital spends and be actively engaged in the development of the Annual Budget and monthly forecast
- Clearly set expectations with crew members, monitor outputs and give proactive feedback on completion of tasks
About you
We are looking for a maintenance professional with strong leadership and technical skills teamed with a positive, can-do attitude, who can coach and mentor existing Supervisors and Planners, set and maintain standards and engage the team to help them reach their potential. There is an opportunity for this person to have a positive impact on the site and make a difference. If you have:
- Trade qualification or equivalent Engineering qualification
- 5+ years’ experience leading a Maintenance Group
- Extensive SAP knowledge in Maintenance Planning / Execution
- Previous experience in Maintenance on HME and fixed plant
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders across all departments
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to foster and maintain a positive safety culture
