We are currently seeking a CHPP Supervisor to join our team in our CHPP and Maintenance Department at South Walker Creek.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing safe compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions & defined processes to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes and systems
- Improving CHPP performance through quality Processing performance and maintenance practices
- Executing the Operational and maintenance plan
- Liaising with the wider CHPP and Maintenance team to develop, validate and challenge the scope of work, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements and maintenance activities
- Liaising with the Planners & Schedulers to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan
- Liaising with contracting partners for various activities
Job Description
Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a CHPP processing plant with Heavy equipment experience such as D11 Cat dozers, Cat993 Loaders
- Electrical Supervisor Candidates will be highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leading a CHPP operations team or maintenance team in a frontline supervisory capacity.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills including time & risk management.
- Flexible / adaptable work style to be able to work within changing environments and work requirements
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, SAP
- Relevant Trade background
- S123 G2
